The requirements of today’s critical communications platforms are not completely satisfied by the current flavour of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) technologies. With the emergence of Long Term Evolution (LTE) we have a scalable, mobile, converged, secure and reliable medium for multimedia communication and situational awareness.
